A Delegation from the Faculty of Economics in Damascus University consisted of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and the coordinator of the Syrian–German Master Program (ECAR) have visited Marburg University in Germany to participate with their German counterparts and with the representatives of the German Academic Exchange Service /DAAD/ in choosing students for the second group of the Syrian –German Master Program (ECAR) during the period 13-18/4/2010.
After making interviews with 56 students from German and Arab nationalities, 19 students have been chosen to the Program and they are from the following nationalities: (5 Syrians, 3 Egyptians, 1 from Morocco, and 8 students from Germany).
The Master of Economic Changes in the Arab Region is a double degree program established in collaboration with Marburg University and supported by DAAD and it consists of study for one academic semester in Damascus University, one academic semester in Marburg University and a third academic semester in the Arab Region.
